Copper & Brass

We are leaders in our field and are involved in manufacturing an extensive range of high quality Semi-finished copper and Brass alloy products (Rods, Tubes, Bus Bars, Strips, Plates, Wires, Pipes, Sheet and Circles) for a wide range of engineering industries. We have the capability and flexibility to meet unique product requirements and exact specifications and size.

We have sophisticated manufacturing facilities and a team of highly qualified, motivated & experienced staff in production and sales to meet customers ever growing quality and service expectation.

Copper & Brass

We supply copper and brass in a variety of widths, gauges, and tempers. As a complement to our vast inventory, all products can be cut to exact specifications. From electric wiring to architectural accents, copper-based alloys have many uses. The malleable brass are easy to shape and are often used for decorative purposes. In gears and other industrial equipment, the low-friction properties of bronze is an advantage. Copper’s ability to effectively conduct electricity makes it ideal for wiring.

Virwadia Steels carries an extensive inventory of brass sheet, plate, rod, bar, tube, pipe, and fittings. Brass Alloys are those made of copper and zinc. Binary alloys of copper and zinc are commonly known as “brasses”. Farmers Copper inventories the following brasses of C26000, C27000, C28000, C33000, and C36000. Brass and Brass Alloys are commonly used for decoration, in musical instruments as well as fittings, casings, valves, doorknobs and electrical applications. Brass Bars are available in different dimensions and sizes with superior finish standards in term of parameters like superior durability, finish as well as corrosion-resistance. With the offered range finding usage in different construction as well as other allied industries, these can be made available as per international standards like ASTM, BS, En, JIS, DIN, ISO and others.

Virwadia Steels is a leading Pure Copper Alloy Supplier and maintains an extensive inventory of pure and alloyed copper in sheet, plate, rod, bar, tube, pipe and fittings. Pure copper, which has a minimum copper content of 99.3% or higher, and is essentially unalloyed copper. Our inventory consists of C10100, C10200, ETP C11000, and C12200.Copper Bars are demanded for their superior conductivity and for properties like crack resistance and free bend-ability. Here, we also ensure that the end solutions offered assist in improving the thermal characteristics of copper flat bars. Some of the benefits provided by these bars include superior conductivity for better carrying capacity, superior dimensional control, crack – free bends, lower inductance, lower impedance, improved thermal characteristics and others.

Copper Nickel Grade

90-10 – 90/10 cupronickel is a 90% copper, 10% nickel alloy that also contains small but important additions of iron and manganese to enhance overall strength corrosion resistance. This, combined with high ductility and toughness, makes it a popular grade for marine, architectural and industrial applications. Offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion, erosion, and biofouling in seawater and brackish water, excellent fabrication and welding properties, a high resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and the retention of mechanical properties down to cryogenic temperatures.

70-30 – 70/30 is a 70% copper, 30% nickel alloy with additions of iron and manganese. These elemental additions make it somewhat more resistant to corrosion and erosion and with slightly improved strength level than 90/10, making it suitable for more demanding applications. In particular, its corrosion resistance is notably improved in high-velocity waters (up to 4.5m/s) and polluted seawater. 70/30 is readily cold worked, fabricated and welded without any special material considerations.
